Vedama is a non-profit association that rescues abandoned dogs and finds them a new home. Collaborate with us!
During the year 2024
We rescued 110 dogs.
And we found a family for 106 dogs.
During this 2025
We have rescued 10 dogs.
And we have found a family for 7 dogs.
We still have challenges! 8 dogs continue to wait to be adopted after more than a year at the shelter: MARS, MOSSET, UKE, TUCSON, TIMOTEO, PETER, FONSI and HERA.
We want to improve, but to do so, we need you. The previous year we had the support of 8 sponsors, 22 members, 105 teamers, and 20 volunteers. Are you with us?

Mars is a very affectionate furry friend who loves cuddles and strokes. Despite his size, he is still a baby who enjoys observing, smelling, and exploring the world.
Mars arrived at the kennel in late 2021, where we rescued him in February. He was living with a lot of stress there, as he is a very affectionate dog and had many deficiencies. He could barely leave his cage once a day, so he is not used to walking on a leash, but he is learning with the volunteers.
Mars was found on the street with Liam, Pinya, and a puppy. They were taken to the shelter. Nothing else is known about his past. No one asked for them. What we do know is that he is a charming little baby who has us all in love.

Mosset came to the shelter as a puppy found alone on the street. At the shelter he has always been very funny with all the volunteers and puppies. Soon after, he was diagnosed with megaesophagus. This disease is not a problem beyond placing the bowl of food and water at head height to avoid poor digestion.
Mosset is a fantastic young dog that we don't want him to lose the opportunity to be adopted due to his medical history, which is why we have included him in the Big Love program. Do you dare to adopt it?

Based on experience, any furry friend found in this section has little chance of being adopted, either due to their advanced age, physical condition, etc.
Therefore, we propose a deal: in exchange for giving these angels an opportunity, we will cover the initial costs related to adoption (chip, castration/sterilization...).
